On the sea floor at 10,000 feet above sea level

On the peaks of Jebel Shams (jebel, arabic for mountain).

I am standing on an ancient sea floor (I have the fossilzed remains of bivalves, sea urchins, and sea biscuits, to prove it) in the mountains of Oman.
