Me in front of the taesil and taesilbi of King Seongjong in Changgyeonggung

The taesilbi is a stone monument inscribed with a story of the placenta.

The taesil is a shrine where the royal family stored the umbilical cord and placenta of their children. This is King Seongjong's taesil.
