Size of reading material for a trip

If you plan on taking reading material with you on your trip, try to buy books that are the same size or smaller than the guide books, so that you can carry them together, especially if you have beltpack like I do (I forgot my Jansport beltpack, so I have been using a Nike beltpack and this Lowe Alpine beltpack).

Most of the tanks in the COEX Aquarium are open at the top...and no one I saw stuck their hands in the tanks...you could never have that in the US.

So I walk into this restaurant in Seoul, I ordered the conch, kimchi, and rice noodle platter (it feeds three) and a Heineken, the waiter laughs as he takes my order, probably thinking "crazy American, he will never finish this whole platter, the kimchi will kill him first"...his eyes got as big as saucers as a little bit later he walked by my table and the plate was empty and I ordered another beer...
